The last sitting of MFOM Written Exam took place on 22 January 2025. The results will be sent to the candidates within four weeks after the exam date.

The next sitting of the MFOM Written exam is TBC.

• The MFOM exam is held online, via remote invigilation. Candidates may sit the exam anywhere in the world, provided they have a reliable internet connection. Click here for more information.

The MFOM Portfolio applications are open and will close on 26 February 2025 which is also the submission deadline. See the application link below. Verification of the applications will start after the closing date. Please note that the candidate's portfolios will be reviewed for anti plagiarism as part of the submission process.

UPDATES!

From 2025 the MFOM Viva exam will be held online

Next MFOM Viva will be held on 14 & 15 April 2025. The exam fees for the Viva exam are included in the portfolio exam fees so there is no separate application link. Candidates who have passed the portfolios will be contacted by the RCPI Exams Department with further instructions. If you are resitting the Viva exam, please contact the RCPI Exams Department at exams@rcpi.ie for further instructions.

MFOM Portfolio move to Brightspace

The College is transitioning most of the MFOM Portfolio exam process to the Brightspace platform: from 29 January 2025 the Brightspace platform will open for applications for the next sitting of the MFOM Portfolio, with submission deadline on 26 February 2025. This change will mean that all portfolio cases will be uploaded directly to Brightspace by candidates in advance of the submission deadline. MFOM Examiners will use Brightspace to view, mark and share their results and feedback with exam candidates. The plagiarism checking process using Turnitin tool will now also be undertaken via the Brightspace platform. Uploading of the supplementary documents and paying the examination fee will remain as is via the RCPI online application. The VIVA examination will also remain as is virtually via Zoom. Multi Factor Authentication 

To access digital services, all RCPI account holders are required to reset your password, edit your profile, and complete Multi Factor Authentication for your account. The next MFOM OSPE will be held on 11 and 12 June 2025 in Dublin. The applications will open on 12 March at 12pm Irish time and close on 23 April 2025 at 5pm Irish time.

Verification of the applications will start after the closing date.
