Get involved in RCPI and make a valuable contribution to your college, your profession and society.
RCPI Trainers play a crucial role in the delivery of our Basic and Higher Specialist Training programmes. They guide our Trainees along the path to becoming a specialist and help the next generation of medical leaders reach their full potential.
Becoming an RCPI Examiner will help you to improve your own teaching practice, as you will be able to give in-depth exam advice to Trainees who are preparing for MRCPI exams. You will also gain a deeper understanding of the clinical skills and acumen you should expect from a Trainee exiting BST and entering HST.
RCPI Council and its board and committees govern the RCPI. As one of our Trainees, Members or Fellows, you may be eligible to join one of the RCPI boards or committees
RCPI has long been a well-respected voice in public health debates. Our Trainees, Members and Fellows lead initiatives and discussions that influence government policies, legislation and shape public debate.
From time to time, we have clinical opportunities within RCPI such as Director roles, clinical leads for new initiatives or opportunities for clinical tutors.
We are often asked to nominate doctors to join external working groups, committees and organisations to represent the College's views or provide specific medical expertise.
RCPI hosts a range of topical events for doctors and other healthcare professionals. These events are held in-person, online and/or hybrid (online and live in-person).
