Visiting Tipperary University Hospital, Wexford General Hospital and University Hospital Limerick
Dr Diarmuid O’Shea, RCPI President and senior leaders from the college, visited hospitals in Tipperary, Wexford and Limerick earlier this year.
This is part of a growing program of engagement across regional sites throughout the country. These visits are an important opportunity for trainees, members and fellows to learn more about what’s happening in training, continuous education and advocacy at RCPI. It is also a chance to provide feedback and inform the future direction of the college.
Dr O’Shea expressed his gratitude to everyone who participated.
“Thank you to the hard-working participants who took the time to meet with us and provided local insights and ideas to inform advances in medical education and training. We look forward to continuing this important dialogue to empower improved patient outcomes, doctor wellbeing and career satisfaction.” Dr O’Shea said.
