Royal College of Physicians of Ireland welcomes 108 new Members
The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland held two prestigious Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI) conferring ceremonies on 5 October 2023 at No.6 Kildare Street.
The ceremonies marked a significant milestone for 108 dedicated physicians from 17 countries who officially became Members of the prestigious institution.
The newly conferred Members were warmly welcomed by Professor Mary Horgan, the President of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. In her address, Professor Horgan said: “Passing the Membership Examination is a very significant achievement and all the more so given that you have busy clinical jobs. It is a journey that is worth every step. Having the letters MRCPI after your name demonstrates that you have reached a standard of excellence that is trusted and recognised by employers around the world.”
As the new Members commence the next chapter of their medical careers, their affiliation with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland serves as a testament to their dedication to advancing the field of medicine and providing the highest quality of care to patients worldwide.
