RCPI publishes 2022/23 Annual Report
The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) has published its 2022/23 Annual Report. The annual report reflects on the achievements of RCPI over the previous 12 months. The report also outlines progress made to date under RCPI’s Strategic Plan 2021 - 2024.

Speaking about the annual report, Audrey Houlihan, CEO of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland said: "Over the past year, we continued to make significant progress on the strategic initiatives outlined in our 2021 – 2024 strategic plan to deliver our vision for a globally connected community of doctors improving people’s health.
I am looking forward to a very busy 2024 as we deliver on the remaining initiatives of the strategic plan. During this time, we will be focused on future growth and the achievement of high-quality performance throughout our activities as we define our strategy beyond 2024.”
Among the highlights of the 2022/23 Annual Report are:
- RCPI’s community of Members and Fellows continues to grow with over 862 new Members and 105 new Fellows conferred during 2022/23 who join our global alumni of over 13,000 respected physicians across 90 countries.
- 4,543 candidates took examinations from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023 from 68 countries worldwide - an increase of 5 per cent compared with the previous year.
- RCPI delivered 43 webinars, conferences, meetings and symposia during 2022/23, with 9,367 doctors in attendance.
The annual report also reflects on the achievements of each of RCPI's Faculties and Institutes, history and heritage, governance and financial reports.
