RCPI publishes 2021/22 Annual Report
The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) has published its 2021/22 Annual Report. The annual report reflects on the achievements of RCPI over the previous 12 months. The report also outlines progress made to date under RCPI’s Strategic Plan 2021 - 2024.
Speaking about the annual report, Prof Mary Horgan, President of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland said:

I am always heartened by the commitment to continuous learning and passion for patient care displayed by our Trainees, Members and Fellows and the College’s endeavors to match that dedication in all that we do."

Among the highlights of the 2021/22 Annual Report are:

RCPI’s community of Members and Fellows continues to grow with over 500 new Members and 69 new Fellows conferred since July 2021 over six virtual, and hybrid ceremonies.

RCPI delivered CPD opportunities to more than 93,300 Learners.

Dr Jeffrey Drazen and Mr Michael Dowling were admitted as Honorary Fellows for their respective contributions to healthcare.

St Luke’s Symposium 2021 welcomed in excess of 1,300 doctors virtually over three days of events
The annual report also reflects on the achievements of each of RCPI's Faculties and Institutes, history and heritage, governance and financial reports.
The 2021/22 Annual Report was officially launched at the Annual Stated Meeting which took place on Tuesday, 18 October 2022.
