New Medical Council Requirements 2023-2024

2023-2024 is now available in ePortfolio for Professional Competence. The Medical Council requirements run over the course of the Professional Competence year which begins on 1 May and ends 30 April the following year. 

Requirements for 2023-2024 include:

• Complete and record one Clinical (Practice) / Audit or Quality Improvement Project
• Gather and record a minimum of 40 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits across the four CPD categories which are:
  • External (maintenance of knowledge and skills)
  • Internal (practice evaluation and development)
  • Personal Learning
  • Research or Teaching

All these activities must be completed between 1 May 2023 and 30 April 2024

If you submit a Personal Development Plan before 30 September 2024, you may enter a claim for 5 Internal CPD Credits.
