Institute of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists holds Spring Conference at No.6 Kildare Street
The Institute of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists held its annual Spring Conference and meeting with the Irish Society of Obstetric Anaesthesia and Irish Society of Interventional Radiology on 3 March 2023. The event took place at the historic No. 6 Kildare Street, with viewers also attending the event virtually.
The theme for this year’s conference was "Multidisciplinary management of Massive Obstetric Haemorrhage: A joint IOG/ISOA/ISIR meeting.” This multidisciplinary meeting focused including Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Obstetric Anaesthesia, Haematology, Interventional Radiology and Patient Advocates focused on disseminating and implementing recent national guidelines describing the management of postpartum haemorrhage and placenta accreta spectrum.
