At Belfast’s Titanic museum, RCPI reflects on occupational health in Ireland & Northern Ireland

The impressive expanse of the Titanic Belfast museum hosted a poster competition by RCPI Faculty of Occupational Medicine on 19-21 June. The competition sought posters that best represent research, policy, and education in the field of occupational health within an all-island Irish context – Ireland and Northern Ireland.

RCPI Faculty of Occupational Medicine was honoured to host the competition as part of the annual Scientific Meeting jointly held by the UK Faculty of Occupational Medicine and Society of Occupational Medicine. Experts in the field – Dr David Mills, Dr David Poots and Dr Martin Tohill – generously served as the competition’s judging panel.

A prize of €200 was awarded to the winners: Dr Nuala Kelly and Dr Dominick Natin, both Fellows of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine

Dr Kelly and Dr Natin won for their excellent poster: “Would you like water with that?’  Symptoms after exposure to a Sodium Troclosene based disinfectant.”
