Important: If you are an RCPI trainee please note, some of our examinations dates might clash with your tutorials, please bear in mind this when booking your examination.

Any exam candidate working in Ireland can apply for a refund upon successfully passing an exam, under the HSE Clinical Course and Examination Refund Scheme.

MRCPI Paediatrics Part I

Applications are open

The next sitting of Part I Written examination will take place 24 January 2025. The applications are now open and will close on 4 December 2024 at 5pm Irish time.

Paediatrics Part I Written is held online, via remote invigilation. Candidates may sit the exam anywhere in the world, provided they have a reliable internet connection. We highly recommend that all candidates read the information about remote invigilation and ensure they fulfil all the requirements before applying: Remote Invigilation at RCPI

Applications open Please note:
  • Verifications are completed up to two weeks after the closing date for applications.
  • If places in this examination should become limited and the number of applications for this exam exceeds the number of places available, priority will be given to doctors on our Basic Specialist Training programme first.
  • Results are sent via email up to four weeks after the exam date.
 

MRCPI Paediatrics Part II Written

Applications are now open

The applications for MRCPI Paediatrics Part II Written examination on 14 March 2025 are now open and will close on 29 January 2025.

Paediatrics Part II Written is held online, via remote invigilation. Candidates may sit the exam anywhere in the world, provided they have a reliable internet connection. We highly recommend that all candidates read the information about remote invigilation and ensure they fulfil all the requirements before applying: Remote Invigilation at RCPI

  • Verifications are completed up to two weeks after the closing date for applications.
  • If places in this examination become limited and the number of applications exceeds the number of places available, priority will be given to doctors on our Basic Specialist Training programme first.
  • Results are sent via email up to five weeks after the exam date.
 

MRCPI Paediatrics Part II Clinical | Ireland

The next Paediatrics Part II Clinical Exam will take place on 29 November in Ireland.

Applications are now closed.

Please note: Places in this exam are limited. This is a registration of interest application, you will not be asked to pay the exam fee upon your first application. After reviewing your application we will contact you with a link to pay the examination fee if you are succesful. The fee for this examination is €845.

IMPORTANT: If you are succesful on your MRCPI Paediatrics Part II Written Exam, you will have the opportunity to apply for this exam.

MRCPI Paediatrics Part II Clinical | International

The next Paediatrics Part II Clinical Exam will take place on 29 November in Muscat, Oman.

Please note: Places in this exam are limited. This is a registration of interest application, you will not be asked to pay the exam fee upon your first application. After reviewing your application we will contact you with a link to pay the examination fee if you are successful. The fee for this examination is €1460.
